CA Intermediate 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To appear for the CA Intermediate January 2026 Exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Through Foundation Route:
   

• Must have passed the CA Foundation Exam conducted by ICAI.
  
• Must have completed the minimum study period before the exam.
  

2. Through Direct Entry Route:
   

• Commerce Graduates/Postgraduates with 55% or more marks.
  
• Non-Commerce Graduates/Postgraduates with 60% or more marks.
  
• Students who have cleared the ICSI or ICMAI Intermediate Level Exam are also eligible.
  

Registration Deadline: March 31, 2025
Registration Validity: 5 years (renewable with a nominal fee)

CA Intermediate January 2026 – Application Process

Follow these steps to apply for the CA Inter January 2026 Exam:

1. Visit the ICAI portal: https://eservices.icai.org/
   
2. Log in with your SSP ID and password (or register as a new user).
   
3. Fill in your personal and exam details.
   
4. Upload a photo, signature, and required documents.
   
5. Pay the exam fee online:
   

• ₹1500 for one group
  
• ₹2700 for both groups
  
• Late fee: ₹600 (for submissions after 16 Nov 2025)
  

6. Download and keep the filled exam form PDF safely.
   
7. If your photo/signature is missing, paste and sign manually, then get it attested by a Gazetted Officer or CA.
   
8. Submit the form before the deadline.
