CA Exam Dates for May-June 24 Announced
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
No. 13-CA (EXAM)/MAY - JUNE/2024: In pursuance of Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to announce that the next Chartered Accountants Foundation,Intermediate and Final Examinations will be held on the dates and places which are given below provided that sufficient number of candidates offer themselves to appear from each of the below mentioned places.
Similarly, Examination in Post Qualification Course under Regulation 204, viz.: International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) (which is open to the members of the Institute) will be held on the dates and places (centers in India only) which are given below provided that sufficient number of candidates offer themselves to appear from each of the below mentioned places.

FOUNDATION COURSE EXAMINATION
According to the study plan announced by the Council under Rule 25 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.

INTERNATIONAL TAXATION – ASSESSMENT TEST (INTT – AT)

It's important to highlight that even if a day during the examination schedule is declared a public holiday by the Central Government or any State Government/Local Bodies, the exam schedule will remain unchanged.
For the Foundation Examination, Papers 3 & 4 last for 2 hours each. Likewise, Paper – 6 of the Final Examination and all papers of the International Taxation Assessment Test have a duration of 4 hours. However, the rest of the examinations have a 3-hour duration, and the specific timing for each exam is provided below:

For Paper 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination and all papers of the Post Qualification Course Examination, there won't be any extra time for reading before the exam. However, for all other papers/exams mentioned earlier, there will be a 15-minute reading time from 1:45 PM (IST) to 2:00 PM (IST).
Additionally, for composite papers that include both Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Descriptive Question Papers, the seal of the MCQs based Question Paper will be opened at 2:00 PM (IST), meaning there won't be any extra reading time for MCQs based Question Papers.

The May / June 2024 Examinations will also be held at 8 (Eight) overseas examination centers, namely:

The exams in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Muscat will start at 12:30 PM local time, which is the same as 2 PM (IST). For Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait, the exams begin at 11:30 AM local time, equivalent to 2 PM (IST). In Kathmandu, the exams start at 2:15 PM local time, corresponding to 2 PM (IST). Thimpu's exam commencement is at 2:30 PM local time, also equivalent to 2 PM (IST).
It's important to note that the Council can cancel any city or center at any time without providing a specific reason.
Online filling up of examination forms:
As part of making things more automated and streamlined, ICAI is happy to announce that for the May/June 2024 exams, all candidates for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations need to apply online at https://eservices.icai.org (Self Service Portal - SSP) and pay the exam fee online. These forms are based on your eligibility, as per announcements and regulations. You can access these forms on SSP by logging in with your credentials (Username <[email protected]> and password) on the dates specified at www.icai.org.

Members interested in applying for the Post Qualification Course Examination, specifically the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) Examination (available to Institute members), should apply online at pqc.icaiexam.icai.org and pay the exam fee online.
You can make the online payment using VISA, MASTER, MAESTRO Credit/Debit Card, Rupay Card, Net Banking, or Bhim UPI.

OPTION TO ANSWER PAPERS IN HINDI:
The late fee for submission of examination application form after the scheduled last date would be ` 600/- (for Indian / Kathmandu / Bhutan Centres) and US $ 10 (for Abroad Centers) as decided by the Council.
Candidates of Foundation, Intermediate and Final Examinations will be allowed to opt for English / Hindi medium for answering papers.Detailed information will be found in guidance notes hosted at https://eservices.icai.org However, the medium of Examinations will be only English in respect of Post Qualification Course viz.: International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) Examination.
It is pertinent to mention that the General Election to 18th Lok Sabha is scheduled to be held in 2024, notification for which is awaited. Accordingly, the Examination Committee may reschedule May 2024 CA Examination, if the dates of General Election coincide with the present Examination Schedule.
